Planning applications were denied on Monday for the UK’s largest pickleball club, proposed to be located in Kingston, South West London.

Latest Pickleball England statistics show an estimated growth of more than 130 per cent in the number of players in England alone in the last year.

Club organisers say the sport's rapid growth creates a need for purpose-built facilities
